ABOUT US

I am offering this site because of my extremely unique experience with 15 kidney (ureter) stones over the period of 1989 to 2001. Actually there was nothing unique about the first 4; just the typical "It will get better and I won’t have to go to the emergency room" type thinking, only to wind up several hours later GLAD to be getting E. R. relief!!  The uniqueness is what happened with the last 11 stones! The UNBELIEVABLY GOOD results I had moving much larger than my E.R. stones, quickly (within minutes) and almost painlessly, through the ureter and to the bladder, using a simple pattern of body movements, a scientist would attribute to serendipity; since I am a 76 year old hay and cattle farmer, with no special expertise in physics and none in medicine, I must attribute my GOOD stone experiences to PURE, DUMB, GOOD LUCK, in that I happened to choose the right pattern of movements, but for all the wrong reasons!

During the 12-year period during which I experienced the 15 stones, I knew next to nothing about the urinary system and stones. Nor did I have any idea as to the size of the stones  that took me to the emergency room or the size of the eleven later stones.

I HAD noticed that 6 of the 7 stones that I "JUMPED DOWN" from July 1993 to October 1995 took from 15 to 25 minutes from the first pair of "JUMPS" to complete cessation of pain, and each of the 4 from 1995 to 2001 took about 40 to 50 minutes. It was only after I received, in September, 2001, all of my hospital, imaging, and urologist records covering the full 12 years and 15 stones, that I knew some of the "JUMP DOWN" stones were almost twice as large as the largest E.R. stones! I also found that the largest stones (about 5-10 mm) took only about HALF the time to jump down as the smaller ones (about 3 to 4 mm)!

Since September 2001, I spent many hundreds of hours digging in all kinds of sources for basic urinary system and stone information, researching methods of treatment for Kidney stones. I investigated the "natural" methods of treatment. I  especially researched to find out if there was any written record of the "Jump and Bump" method  used elsewhere. The theory and possible explanation of the success that others and I had with the J&B method came through this extensive literature search.  I could find no direct mention of the method in the literature. However, I found many individual items of research, when added together, seem to very much support the rationale for the method as outlined on this site.

This site is offered by Dil G. Barnett, Carroll County (Carrollton), Georgia, USA.  This site is offered in the hopes that others may share our good fortune when dealing with their stones. We also hope that eventually professional research and refinement, along with the invention of an a appropriate gravity-moving inertia inducing apparatus, will result in an improved method that is suitable for clinical use.
